Our headline project in 2024/2025 was the re-roofing of a key building of the St Elizabeth Hospital in Won, Bali Nyonga. This hospital provides vital health services to residents In the wartorn village.

We worked in partnership with sister organisations in Europe to send hospital beds to hospitals in Bali. Setting up the beds at their final destinations took longer than anticipated as they arrived at the peak of the war in the region.

Members of the Bali Nyonga Cultural Association donated to the food bank in Leicester, the location of the 2024 BCDA-UK conventions.

In collaboration with pastors of the Presbyterian Church in Ntanfouang, Bali, we distributed free face masks and handwashing containers—valued at 1.5 million FCFA— throughout Bali during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are grateful to the Pastors who worked with the other churches to sensitise people who were facing dual challenges of the pandemic and war

Bali Nyonga sub-division is been in the “eye of the storm” of the prolonged warfare that has raged the region. A Food and Shelter Assistance Appeal was launched by the Health Welfare Association in Africa – Cameroon (HeWAAC). BCDA UK Charity contributed towards the activities of organisation.
